I have a VirtualBox and Windows XP is still on foot in about 30 days for activation. What happens if I activate it? Also, how is triggered when an activation key.

If you do not have a legitimate copy of Windows XP or activation key, only 30 days, then stops working properly. Microsoft Digital Rights Management inserts available pirated copies because they do not want to use. Of course, there are ways around almost everything, but not legitimate. If you do not exist, you can download the open source operating systems like Linux. Some are harder to use than others, but it is freely available. Personally I would use to look for a version of WinXP and students.
